Can I still get a ticket?
We’re sorry, ticket sales are now closed.
How will I access the conference sessions?
All of the conference sessions will be housed on Teachable. Visit CarolinaHomeschoolConference.Teachable.com and log in with the email address you used when registering and you will see all of the sessions.
Who should attend the Carolina Homeschool Conference?
One of our core principles is inclusion, so there is something for everyone:
- New homeschoolers
- Experienced homeschoolers
- People considering homeschooling
What are the conference dates?
All of the conference sessions will be live on August 22, 2020. We will meet in the private Facebook group for a week (until August 28th) so we can all build our homeschool community.
Is this conference in person?
No. We will miss seeing your smiling faces, but current N.C. guidelines prevent us from getting together in person. Instead, we will meet virtually.
Is this a religious conference?
We want everyone to feel welcome and included so we are faith neutral. The sessions do not promote any particular faith, but many of the speakers are religious.
If you are religious – you will not be asked to check your faith at the door. You are free to be yourself.
If you are not religious – you will not be asked to listen to religious speeches disguised as homeschool help. You too are free to be yourself.
What happens at a homeschool conference?
The main purposes of a homeschool conference are encouragement, inspiration, and connection.
Our speaker sessions will provide the encouragement and inspiration. The sessions were created to help you at any stage of homeschooling. We have a session for everyone – regardless of grade level or experience!
The private Facebook group is a great place to get connected! Chat with other homeschool families.
Stop by the virtual vendor hall and see the amazing classes, activities, and resources available in our homeschool community.
What does my ticket include?
Each ticket to the 2020 Carolina Homeschool Conference includes access to every session, a private Facebook group, a virtual vendor hall, and a digital swag bag.
What happens after I register?
You will receive a welcome email soon after purchasing your ticket. This email will invite you to join a private Facebook group that is just for conference attendees.
On August 22nd, the day the conference goes live, you will receive another email letting you know that the conference is now available. Then you will be able to log in to Teachable to watch all of the sessions, check out the fantastic vendors, and grab your digital swag bag.
Please note that if you elect not to receive emails from Teachable or Carolina Homeschool Conference these emails will not arrive. That is okay though. All of the information is also in the Welcome area of the conference. Just log in at CarolinaHomeschoolConference.Teachable.com.
Are the conference sessions live?
No. The speakers have recorded their sessions and uploaded the video so that you can watch whenever is convenient for you.
How long will I have access to the sessions?
Tickets will only be sold August 1st – the week of the conference. However, a ticket will give you lifetime access to the conference. Watch the sessions whenever works best for you
May I share the session videos?
No. Please encourage any interested friends to purchase their own ticket. The resources are not to be shared.
What is the refund policy?
The 2020 conference will be held entirely online so there will be no tickets refunded.
